The Jaw-Dropping, All-New Rolls Royce Dawn
Excuse me whilst I wipe the drool off my shirt, but I simply can’t get enough of Rolls Royce’s newest model. Although based on the Wraith, the new Dawn features 80% new body work, which includes new doors, bumpers and grille. The new Roller will be a soft-top convertible, which Rolls Royce claim will have a 21 second opening/closing time. The Dawn will boast the existing Ghost’s 6.6L biturbo V12 power unit; which is rated at 563hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. As well the Dawn will have the “satellite aided” 8-speed auto transmission, which utilizes GPS to account for hills and elevation changes in the road.
Rolls says that the inspiration behind the new model was the original 1952 Silver Dawn Drophead. Canadel wood panelling will cover the rear deck, and continue throughout the cabin of the Dawn. Rear-hinged doors, will welcome passengers as they climb into the opulent cabin; the model shown here comes with the Mandarin leather interior, which compliments the Midnight Sapphire exterior paint scheme oh so well. If you’d like to own one, orders are being taken now and pricing hits around $400k, we will take 3 of them!
