Take A Peek At How The 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is Built
Porsche unveiled their latest 911 iteration at the Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside the jaw-dropping GT2 RS. The 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series will be limited to only 500 units, of which Porsche has added to the already juicy Turbo S horsepower, as well as a host of aerodynamic upgrades and a stunning yellow-gold metallic finish. Pricing has yet to be disclosed on the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, however it is safe to assume that they are already sold out.
In the first video, provided by Porsche, gives us an inside look at the painstaking process of how they hand-build each of the very rare, 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. The second video below showcases the painting process which os applied to the 20 inch center-lock wheels. Then, a laser burns off the top layer of dark paint to reveal the shaded gold finish. The delicious yellow gold metallic paint features carbon fiber stripes. the brake rotors have black calipers with gold Porsche logos. On the interior of the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, passengers are wrapped in 18-way sport seats with double-perforated leather upholstery with yellow stitching and stripes. The Alcantara headliner showcases a matching pattern.
