Pininfarina Unveils 1,900 HP Electric Hypercar

First Official Photos Of The New Electric Hypercar

Pinifarina unveiled in Pebble Beach this year their new electric hypercar, codenamed the PF0. The Italian Design House will confirm the final name in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show. The PF0 is the premier car developed under the Pininfarina company’s new EV sub-division. However, this car hasn’t yet been revealed to the general public. Alternatively, Pininfarina’s prospective clients were treated to private viewings of the the hypercar prior to it going on sale in 2020.

Pininfarina received an overwhelming response during the private reveal. The Italian Design House has decided to release it’s first official photos of the new hypercar, the PF0 to those of us who are unlikely to be able to afford one. Naturally, the hypercar possesses a strikingly sleek, yet elegant design. In the photos of the rear, there is a set of floating wings integrated with LED taillights and aerodynamic arches throughout.

“For a new car company, this US launch program was hugely challenging, exciting and ultimately rewarding,” said Michael Perschke, Automobili Pininfarina CEO. “Our guests in Pebble Beach were classic and performance car aficionados and judged that the PF0 design delivered the right balance of beauty and functional performance visuals. They came to see classic Pininfarina and weren’t disappointed.” Perschke continues on to say, “Most importantly, we have some great feedback from clients who have owned numerous Pininfarina-styled supercars. We know we are on the right track and we will now return to Europe to deliver on our aim of producing the world’s most beautiful, innovative and rare hypercar.”

The Italian Design House states that the PF0 electric-driven powertrain will allow it to jet from 0-62 MPH in under two seconds. And continue to a top speed in excess of 250 MPH, and offer a range of 300 miles. Of course only 150 models will be built when Pininfarina drops the PF0 in 2020.
