BBC Announces Jeremy Clarkson’s replacement! Meet Chris Evans

After months of speculation, BBC has finally revealed who will be replacing the great Jeremy Clarkson. His name is Chris Evans and is a well-known TV and Radio personality, who has a serious Ferrari addiction. Chris has a very impressive track record, including BBC 1 and 2 radio host, as well he writes a motorist column for the national paper. He posses an incredible knowledge for cars and is clearly the right man for the job. Evans is known for his witty jokes and sharp creativity.

He has the full support of Mr. Clarkson. Even James May has expressed his feelings about Mr. Evans, tweeting out: “Well: best of luck to Chris Evans and the future of Top Gear (b. 1977). That’s a really ballsy call, frankly, and to be admired.” It is rumored that there will be female costar(s) on screen alongside Mr. Evans. Kim Shillinglaw, the controller of BBC 2 and 4, was quoted saying, “Chris is a huge fan of Top Gear and has great respect for the craft and work ethic of one of the best production teams in the world. He knows the phenomenal attention to detail it takes to make a single sequence of Top Gear, let alone  a whole series. He is already full of brilliant ideas and I can’t wait for hime to get started.” Very interested in seeing how this works out for the future of the greatest show on Earth.
